What is Cracked Monocle?

There can only be one monocle on the face of steampunk, and it’s going to be cracked.

Cracked Monocle is a steampunk-obsessed team of game designers. We specialize in pen-and-paper roleplaying games, and you can find us at events across Texas (and other nearby states), running public games, doing panels, and piecing together steampunk events. Our goals are grand, and our standards are high. We’re a team of go-getters, excited to be doing what we’re doing and working hard to make our dreams a reality. Speaking of dreams…

Our Missions

• The Spread of Steampunk:
Even if we have to slave in a hot room, we’ll continue to shovel coals into the boiler. We believe in the steampunk aesthetic, movement, and people. We are obsessed with the genre, and our work reflects that. Though we are confident that our products would work in any genre, we develop everything to fit into the steampunk frame of mind. It is our niche, and we excel in it.

• Innovations in Gaming:
We’re not satisfied to keep playing the same old games. We question everything. Does that setting work? Does that system mechanic have a purpose? We are here to innovate, to bring new life to the world of roleplaying games. Roleplaying games are truly unique in the world of gaming, and we will continue to breath new life into them.

• Intriguing People:
What makes a great game experience? Having great people around the table with you! What makes a great panel? Awesome and excited panelists! Cracked Monocle is full of exciting, intriguing people. We’re here to entertain, and that starts by filling the company with entertainers

We love going from convention to convention, hobby store to hobby store, running demos, open playtests, and panels about us, our game, and everything we love.
